Kun Ruotsi luopui apteekkimonopolistaan, sai kuka tahansa perustaa apteekin. \u00a0Ongelmaksi muodostui se, ett\u00e4 IT-j\u00e4rjestelmien toimittajat eiv\u00e4t olleet varautuneet pienten apteekkien nousuun Ruotsissa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apteekkimonopolin rauettua valtion Apoteket AB:ssa k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 ollut IT-j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4 myytiin, mutta vanha j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4 ei taipunut pienten apteekkien tarpeisiin tai maksukykyyn. Hinta oli sama niin isoille apteekkiketjuille kuin yhden hengen apteekkiyritt\u00e4jille. Uudet apteekit eiv\u00e4t olisi pystyneet edes aloittaa toimintaansa ilman Receptumia.
